Job Description

The Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC is seeking a IT Business Analyst will act as the key interface with business stakeholders as it relates to IT systems and projects. This role is expected to learn features and capabilities of existing systems, analyze business needs/requirements, define/identify proposed solutions, test and implement new and existing systems. Qualified candidate will also manage projects and assist in training of users to leverage systems effectively.

In collaboration with IT Applications, IT Infrastructure and IT Management, they will analyze and document project scope, goals and deliverables that support business needs. The IT Business Analyst will be required to maintain current knowledge regarding new technologies, enhancements available for current technologies, business process definition/documentation and general IT controls.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Present enhancements and/or modification to developers
• Perform quality tests on new enhancements and/or modifications.
• Prepare documentation for various systems.
• Make presentation in front of both large and small group.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in Business or Information Systems preferred;
• Minimum two (2) years of experience working with various systems and software packages;
• OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Considerable knowledge of systems being used currently and standard in IT related practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to train other users on software applications.
